The official Facebook page of the Department Of Government Information was hacked since last noon by a Group of Hackers according to the Department.
Due to this updating process of the Page has been stopped temporarily and the steos,are being taken to restore the page it has been announced.
Government has decided to increase the Prices of Liqour and Cigarettes it has been announced.
Prices of Liquor will be increassd due to the increased production cost and taxes and the Prices of Cigarettes too will be increased under four catagories Rs.5,15,20 and 25 according to the Ministry of Finance.
Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CEYPETCO )had revised the Prices of fuel with effect from midnight last night(30).
According to this Price revision the Price of a Liter of Octane -92 Petrol had been increased by Rs.10 to Rs.328 ,A liter of Octane -95 Petrol had been decreased by Rs.20 to Rs.365,A liter of Super Diesel had been increased by Rs.6 to Rs.346,A liter of Auto Diesel decreased by Rs.2 to 308 and A liter of Kerosene Oil had been decreased by Rs.9 to Rs.236 .
