Thirty One Students Hospitalized Due To Food Poisioning

 Thirty One students studying in Nanu oya  Primary school at Nuwara Eliya district  had been hospitalized due to food poisoning  it has been reported.The group of students were admitted to Nuwara Eliya district hospital with symptoms including  fatigue and vomiting  after consuming their lunch it has been reported. 


 The condition of the students  is stable according to the hospital authorities. A 56 Year Old Person Died Due To Wild Elephant Attack

 A 56 year old person was killed due to a Wild Elephant attack in front of his house at Galgamuwa area in Kurunagala District (North Western Province) last night (27).The deceased was rushed to the Glagamuwa base  hospital in critical condition and died on admission to the hospital it has been reported .Can you predict death? - Telegraph India.

Three Wild Elephants had entered the garden of the deceased and one of them had attacked him it has been revealed

Two Senior DIG's Questioned On Their Transferes

 Two of the Senior Deputy Inspectot General Of Police (DIG) who are among the seven DIG's given immediatte transferrres by the Inspector General Of Poice (IGP) C.D Wikramaratne recently ,had openely questioned on the transferes citing it didnt follow the due process

IGP had transferred the seven DIG's due to servive requirements with the approval of National police commission and the secretary of Ministry of Public security .

 Sri Lanka"s debt restructuring process will go ahead even if the Banking swrvice and stock market of the country collapse Presodent Ranil Wkiramasinghe has stated in Parliament yesterday(26).


Adrressing the Parliament during the debate held in parliament on EFF facility offered by the International Monetary Fund(IMF),President Wikramasinghe has told that the total debt of Sti lanka now stands at USD 83.5 Billion   comprising of USD.41.5 Billion  as foreign debt and USD 42 billion as domestic  debt .The debt restructuring process will be not suspended under any circamstance he has stressed.

Sri lanka will start negotiations with foreign crediters the President has further said


Two Brothers Drowned Whilst Bathing In Mankulam

 Two brothers had drowned whilst bathing in Vavnikulam River in Mallavi area at Mankulan (Northerm Province ) last evening (26).


The deceased were of the ages 26 and 16 according to Mallavi police.The bodies of the deceased are lying at Mallavi Hospital
