A 11 Year Old Boy Died After Knocling Down By A Lorry
A 11 year old boy had died after he was knocking down by a Lorry last afternoon (18) at hettipola area (North Western Province) .The deceased had attempted to cross the road when he was knocked down by the lorry came from the opposite direction it has been revealed .
The deceased was a resident of Anukkanhena area in Walawwaththa .Hettipola police had arrested the lorry driver over the incident ,
Government Banned Musical Shows And Political Gatherings At Galle Face
Cabinet had approved a proposal submitted on banning holding Musical shows and political gatherings in Galle face green,Colombo and only allowing public to gather there to spend their leisure time .
Accordingly holding Musical shows and Political gatherings in Galle face green will be banned from tomorrow(20) and the place will be allocated for public to spend their leisure time the Cabinet Spokesman MP Bandula Gunawardane had stated during the Cabinet press briefing held yesterday (18).
President Declared Few Services As Essential Services
President Ranil Wikramsinghe has today (18)declared Electricity ,Petroleum ,Postal and Health services as essential services .
These services should be maintained to ensure the functioning of normal life without any interruption the president has stated.

A Three And Half Year Old Child Died Due To A Vehicle Collision
A three and half year old child had died and three others had been injured and hospitalized due to a collision of three Three wheelers at the Godagama junction (Western province) in wee hours of this morning (18) it has been reported.
The Mother ,Father and brother of the
child had been injured and admitted to the Homagama base hospital for treatment.The incident occurred when the deceased child and his family members are travelling from Nugegoda to their house at Madulawa area according to Meegoda Police.
Twenty Six Vehicles Had Collided With Each Other In Southern Expressway
Around 26 vehicles had been collided with each other at the Dodanduwa entry in Southern Expressway last sunday (16) evening causing damage to many vehicles involved in the incident according to the Expressway police.
The incident had occurred due to not keeping a distance between the vehicles the Police had stated.No casualties had been reported due to the incidnt .
