Two Motorcylcists Killed Due To A Motorcycle Collision

Two Motorcyclists of the age of 18 years were killed when the two motorcycles ridden by them  colliding with each other near the Fuel station at Moronthuduwa-Bandaragama Road last night (18).

A 40 Year Old Sri Lankan Involved In Human Trafficking In Oman Remanded

 A 40 year old Sri  Lankan who had been arrested over human trafficking in Oman was remanded until 24th of November by the Court today (19).

The suspect was arrested by the Immigration and Emigration officials in Katunayake International Airport last night (18) on his arrival from Dubai .The Suspect is a resident of Wattala area and he has involved in human trafficking through his  office situated in Maradana area(Colombo )  it has been revealed. .

A Chinese Ship Carrying 1000 Metric Tones Of Rice Arrived

 A Chinese Ship carrying 1000 ,Metric Tones of Rice donated to Sri Lanka by the Chinese Government had arrived in Colombo harbor this morning (19). According to the Chinese Government in Colombo this stock of Rice is scheduled to be distributed among the needy as soon as possible .

China has donated 7000 Metric tones of Rice to Sri Lanka from June up to now the Embassy had stated ,

University Student Protesters Marched Towards Welikada Prison

 Although Police have dispersed the University Student Protest march conducted by   Inter University Students Federation (IUSF) at Horton Place and near Prime Ministers office Temple Trees this evening (18)  Student protesters had marched towards the Welikada Prison in Colombo where the  convener of the IUSF Wasantha Mudalige and  convener of Inter University Bhikku Federation Venerable Galwewa Siridhamma Thero are being remanded

University Student protesters held a protest march demanding the release of the two conveners who are being  remanded by the authorities under the terrorism prevention act .
