Forty two students attached to Bogaswewa School in Vavuniya District (Northern Province) had been admitted to Vavuniya Hospital this morning (17) due to a wasp attack.
Wasps at the Wasp nest in a tree at Bogaswewa School had attacked the students after they were provoked it has been reported ;
Although Petrol Price has been reduced from some amount the Three wheeler fare cannot be reduced until increasing the fuel quota supply to Three wheelers according to All Ceylon Three Wheeler drivers and owners Association ,

Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (Ceypetco) has today (17) reduced the prices of Octane-92 Petrol and Lanka white Diesel by Rs.40 and Rs.15 per liter respectively .This price reduction has been implemented with effect from 9 p.m today it has been announced.
According to the new price reduction the Price of a liter of Octane-92 Petrol has been reduced to Rs.370 and the price of Lanka White Diesel was reduced to Rs.415 .
