The All Ceylon Canteen Owners Association had reduced the Prices of Milk Tea and Plain tea by Rs.10 and Rs.20 respectively with effect from today (06).
Accordingly the Price of Milk Tea had been reduced to Rs.100 and Plain Tea to Rs.30 the Association has stated .The Prices of Milk Tea and Plain Tea had slashed due to the reduction of Gas Prices according to the national convener of the All Ceylon Canteen Owners Association Asela Sampath.
Litro Gas Company Limited has been reduced the Price of a 12.5 Kilo Gramme Gas Cylinder by Rs.271 with effect from midnight last night (05).
Accordingly the Price of a 12.5 Kilo Gramme LP Gas Cylinder has been reduced to Rs.4280 from Rs.4551.
Litro Gas has also reduced the Price of the 05 Kilo Gramme Gas cylinder by Rs.107 and 2.3 KG Gas Cylinder by Rs.48 ..
Prices of LP Gas are scheduled to be reduced by Rs.200-300 with effect from midnight tonight (05) according to the Litro Gas Company .
This price reduction will be done according to the price mechanism introduced for Gas prices .
Meanwhile Price of a 50 KG Cenment bag has been reduced by Rs.100 to encourage the Construction industry government has stated .

Police had last evening (04) dispersed a Protest march organized by
the Inter University Students Federation and several organizations against the suppression of the government ,by
firing tear gas and water cannons at Dalugama area in Kelaniya (Western
Province).
Hundreds and thousands of persons had participated in the
Protest march which began in front of University of Kealniya .
The All Ceylon Canteen Owners Association has decided to increase
the prices of Kottu and Rice Pack by Rs.10 due to the price hike of Food
ingredients and the Social security tax according to the President of
the Association Asela Sampath .
However the Prices of Hoppers and other flour based products as well as Plain tea will bot increased he has stated .
