Navy Arrested Two Persons With A Stock Of Kerala Cannabis
Sri Lanka Navy had arrested two persons along with more than 155 Kilo Grammes of Kerala Cannabis in their possession during a raid carried out in Ilanthadiya area in Norochholai (North western province ) today (23) .
The suspects are of the ages 35 and 40 years resides in Ragama area .Sri Lanka Navy had handed over the two suspects along with the stock of Kerala Canabies were handed over to the Norochcholai Police for a legal action .

Thriposha Limited Confirmed There Was A "Aflotoxine
Thriposha Private Limited which produced and distributed the Nutritional Supplement "Thripohsa " powder for the Pregnant Mothers ,Lactating mothers and children under 5 years had today (22) stated that some Thriposha Packs found as contained the toxin "Aflotoxine " in higher doses few months back .However hose packs didn't distribute among the recipients it has been reported .
Public Health inspectors (PHI) Union president Upul Rohana had stated last Tuesday (20) that many Thriposha Packs had found as contained with "Aflatoxin "toxin which was denied by the Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwekkq
However Health Minister had today said in Parliament he will accept that there was Aflatoxine problem in Thrposha `powder ``few months back and now the problem is not theree .````````````` `` .

Australia Handed Over 600 Metric Tons Of Rice To Sri Lanka
Australia had handed over 600 Metric tons of Rice to the Sri Lankan Government today(21) under the special food aid programme introduced by the Australian Government regarding Sri lanka .The stock of Rice is scheduled to be distributed among the people affected due to the food insecurity it has been reported .
The stock of rice handed over today is worth around Australian Dollars 15 million it has been revealed .Another stock of food aid including Rice ,Dhal and Cooking Oil is scheduled to be handed over to Sri lanka by the Australian government soon .
Government To Reduce The Price Of Sanitary Pad Packs
President Ranil Wikramasinghe is paying attention to reducing the price of Sanitary Pad packs which had been increased due to the taxes imposed on it according to the State Minister of Child and Women's affairs Geetha Kumarasinghe .
After removing many taxes including Ports ,Aviation, Customs and Ses taxes Price of a Sanitary Pad pack in the local market can be sold for the old price she has stressed .Speaking at t he Parliament the State Minister had stated that the Finance Ministry will issue a circular regarding price reduction of Sanitary Pad packs soon .
A Local manufacturer had agreed to sell a Pack of Sanitary Pads for Rs.150 she has further said .
