Litro Gas Reduced The Price Of Gas By A Small Amount
The state run Litro Gas Company had decreased the Prices of Litro Gas with effect from midnight yesterday (08) according to t he Chairman of the Litro Gas Company Muditha Pieris .
Accordingly the Price of the 12.5KG Litro gas cylinder had been decreased by Rs.246 ,The price of the 5 Kg Gas cylinder by Rs.99 and 2.3 KG Gas cylinder by Rs.45 he has stated .
Litro Gas Company had increased the Gas prices heavily few month back and now says the Company had turned a profit in July after a period of sustained losses .
Another 180 Corona Positives And 02 Corona Deaths Reported Yesterday (08)
Another 180 Corona Positives and 02 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (09) according to the Ministry of Health.
With the new set of Corona positives reported yesterday the total number of Corona Positives reported so far had been increased to 666,944 and the total number of Corona deaths had been increased to 16,588 the Ministry has stated .
The total number of Corona Positives who are under medical care in hospitals and at home had been increased to 1347 according to the Epidemiology Unit .

Fuel Quota Scheduled To Be Issued For Vehicles This Week Remains Unchanged
The fuel quota scheduled to be issued for vehicles this week under QR System will remain same as in previous week the Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekare has stated .
After analyzing the data this week necessary changes will necessary changes regarding fuel quota will be made if necessary by next Sunday the Minister had stressed .
Accordance to the QR Code system introduced with effect from last Monday Motor bicycles will be received 4 liters per week ,Three wheelers 5 liters per week .Vans and Cars 20 liters ,15liers for land vehicles and 50 liters each for lorries and special purposed vehicles it has been announced .
