LIOC had stopped issuing Fuel for it's fuel stations on Saturday due to a request made by the government in view of the massive protest held against the president yesterday and scheduled to be resumed the issuing of fuel tomorrow .However the company had suddenly decided to issue Fuel from today .
A Ship Carrying 3700 Metric Tons Of Gas Arrived In Colombo Harbor
A Ship carrying 3700 Metric tons of LP Gas had arrived in Colombo harbor this evening (10) according to Litro Gas Company .This ship had arrived as a result of the agreement signed between World Bank and Litro Gas the company had announced .
After checking the quality of the Gas stock it is due to be unloaded from the ship Litro Gas company has stated .According to the authorities the stock of Gas arrived from the Ship today likely to be distributed throughout the Island from tomorrow (11).
Meanwhile another ship carrying 3740 Metric tons of Gas is scheduled to be arrived in Colombo Harbor tomorrow (11) and another Gas ship carrying 3200 Metric tons of Gas will be arrived on 15th of July the Company had stressed , Altogether 33,000 Metric tons of Gas had been imported to the Country during this month the Company had said ,
Police Arrested Three Persons Over Setting Dire GTi
Police have today (10)arrested three persons over setting fire to the private residence of Prime Minister Ranil Wikramaisnghe at Cambridge Place in Colombo -07 the Police Department had announced ,
Accordingly a 19 year old residing in Mount Lavinia ,and two persons of the ages 24 and 28 years residing in Kadawatha and Galle respectively had been arrested over the incident and they were later remanded until 20th of July after being produced before Colombo Fort Magistrate. More arrests regarding the incident will follow Police Department had announced .
