Government To Declare Friday As A Day For Working From Home For Govt ,Employees

 Due to the  Fuel and Economic crisis prevailing in the country at present  Government has decided to declare Fiday as a day of working from home for Government employees .

Accordingly from this week Government employees need to come to office  only four days it has been announced .

Minister oF Public Administration Dinesh Gunawardena is due to submit a a Cabinet paper to the Cabinet  regarding declaring  Friday as a day for Government employees to work from home the Minister Gunawardane has stated , 

Private Buses To Suspend Their Service From Tomorrow (06) .

 Private Bus Owners had decided to remove two thirds of  Private buses owned by them  from roads with effect from  tomorrow (06) due to the Diesel shortage prevails in the country at present .

Earlier Private Bus owners had decided to not to run Private Buses from tomorrow due to the Diesel shortage .However as the news School term is due to begin tomorrow ,they have decided to run Many Private Buses as can the President of the Ceylon Private Bus Owners Association Gamunu Wikeratane has stated .

Laugfs Gas Company Had Increased Gas Prices

 The Laugfs Gas Company had increased the Prices of 12.5 KG and 5KG Gas Cylinders with immediate effect the Company had announced today (05).

Accordingly with the new price hike  the price of  12.5 KG Laugfs Gas Cylinder had been increased to  Rs.6850 and 5KG Gas Cylinder had been increased to Rs.2740 .

Due to the US Dollar shortage Litro Gas Company had suspended the supply of Gas Cylinders since three months and as a shipment of Gas arrived at Colombo Harbor the distribution of Laugfs Gas is scheduled to be resumed tomorrow (06) ,

 A Seven hour long water cut is being imposed in several areas belongs to Kotte Municipal Council Area from 10 p.m tonight until 05 a.m tomorrow morning (05) due to a maintenance of a pipeline according to National Water supplies and drainage board .Accordingly this water cut is being imposed in 13

areas belonging to Kotte Municipal Council including Pitakotte, Ethulkotte, Baddagana, Mirihana ,Madiwela ,Thalapathpitiya ,Udahamulla ,Embuldeniya ,Nugegoda ,Wijerama Road ,Pagoda, and Nugegoda junction to Open university in Nawala area the Water Board has announced.
