Body Of A Missing Girl Found In A Marshland

 The body of  a Nine year old Girl Fathima Ayesha who had gone missing since last morning(27)  had been recovered  in a marshland  near her house at Atalugama in Banadaragama ,Kalutara today (28).

Her body was covered with mud it has been reported ,The girl went missing after going to market  to buy chicken it has been revealed ,Police had launched an investigation on the incident and expecting to question girl's father over the incident according to reports ,

The deceased girl believes to be faced some kind of incident on her way to the market Police had suspected ,

Police Fired Tear Gas To Disperse A Group Of Protesters At Colombo Fort

 Police have today (28) fired Tear Gas and water cannon to disperse a group of protesters at "Gota Go Gama" in Galle Face who had attempted to enter Bank road near the World Trade Center in Colombo Fort.

Hundreds of Protesters had attempted to enter Bank Road to mark the 50th day of "Gota Go Gama " Protest in Galle face green ,Colombo .Bank Road is one of the areas in Colombo Court had ordered to ban Protesters from entering during today's protests ,

Protesters however pulled down the Road Barricades used by the Police to block the entry road , 

Wife Of MP Wimal Weerawanshe Had Been Sentenced To Two Year Imprisonment Over Diplomatic Passport Case

Colombo Chief Magistrate Court had today (27) sentenced  Shashi Weerasinghe the wife of National Freedom Front MP Wimal Weerawanshe to  two year rigorous imprisonment over the preparation of Diplomatic passport by providing fraudulent documents to the Immigration and Emigration Department ,

Colombo Chief Magistrate Buddhika shri Ragala had also imposed a fine of Rs.100,000 for the accused ,If Shashi Weerasinghe  fails to pay that fine  her prison sentence will be extended by another six months it has been reported ,

This case was heard at Colombo Chief Magistrate Court for a period of seven years ,
