A ship carrying 38,000 metric tones of Diesel under the Indian credit line is schedule to arrive in Sri Lanka today (21) according to the Ministry Of Power .
Another ship carrying 37,000 metric tones of Petrol had already arrived in Colombo harbor and unloading of the stocks of Petrol from that ship is currently underway the Ministry has stated ,Distribution of Octane 92 and Octane -95 petrol had begun since last morning the Ministry has further said ,However according to the sources Ceylon Petroleum Corporation had only distributed stocks of petrol to a limited number of Petrol stations in the island and still there's a long queues can be seen in front of Petrol stations .
Prime Minister Ranil Wikramsinghe had stated foreign reserves in the country is not sufficient to utilize to purchase fuel to the country ,
