Nearly 40 Buses Damaged Due To The Violence Erupted Against The Attack On Galle Face Protest

 Nearly 40 Buses including nearly 30 Private Buses had been damaged due to the violence erupted Island wide last Monday (09) evening after the attack taken place against peaceful demonstration in Galle Face ,Colombo it has been reported .


Accordingly some of these Buses were burnt  and others were damaged by using objects it has been revealed. Five Buses were thrown in to Beira Lake In Colombo the sources have stated .Many of these damaged Buses were identified as transporting the Provincial Council MP's to a meeting held  at Prime  Minister 's official residence "Temple Trees "on last  Monday(09)  .Those MP's later went to the protest site in Galle face and attacked the Protesters which lead to  violence against politicians .


Island Wide Curfew To Be Lifted At 7 A/M Tomorrow (12)- Re Imposed At 2 p.m

 The island wide Curfew imposed at present scheduled to be lifted at 7 a.m tomorrow (12) morning and after a 7 hour break it will be re imposed at 2 p.m  the President's Media Division has announced,


The re imposed curfew will continue until 6 a.m on Friday (13) The division has stated .

Meanwhile from today (11)Tri forces ,The Army ,Navy and Air force personal are being deployed throughout the island to provide security the Defense Ministry has announced .Tri forces are being advised to arrest those individuals who are attempting to check vehicles and steeling valuables the Ministry has stated .

Ministry Of Defense Given Orders To Tri Forces To Shoot Persons Who Are Stealing Properties

 Ministry Of Defense had given orders to tri forces ,Sri Lanka Army ,Navy and the Airforce to shoot persons who are stealing /damaging public properties and assaulting people .



This order was given under the state of emergency declared in the island .

A Group Of Lawyers Wanted Ex Premier Mahinda Rajapakshe To Be Arrested Over PlsnnedS

 A group of lawyers had today (10)requested the Inspector General Of Police (IGP) to arrest the Ex Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakshe immediately  and enforce law against him over planning the attack against Protesters in "Gotago gama " and "Mynagogama " protests site yesterday (09).


The group of lawyers had blamed the Police officers who were on duty in Galle face and Temple trees at the time of incident over allowing the attack to be taken place .

Addressing a press briefing held in Colombo Magistrate court premises yesterday (09) Attorney at law Gunaratne Wanninayake has stated that the Defense secretary ,Inspector General Of Police and Deputy Inspector General Of Police in Western  province )Deshabandu Thennakoon were guided  the attack .

Statue Of Late D.A Rajapakshe Had Been Demolished

 The statue of Late Parliamentarian D.A Rajapaskhe the father of President Gotabhaya Rjapakshe and Ex Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakshe  located in Tangalle town (Southern Province ) had been demolished by a group of protesters it has been reported .





Island Wide Curfew Extended Until Thursday (12) Morning

 The Island Wide curfew imposed from yesterday (09) had been extended until 7 a.m on this Thursday (12) the Presidential Media Unit has announced .


During the curfew hours no one is allowed to stay in a public area ,Railway station ,Public garden ,Sports ground or a beach area without a written permission of an authorized officer the unit has stated .
