National List MP Ali Sabry Had Stated He Is Still The Finance Minister Of The country

National List MP Of the governing Sri Lanka Poudjana Peramuna Party Ali Sabry had today (08) announced in Parliament that he is still the Finance Minister of the country .

Earlier he had resigned from his Finance Ministerial portfolio 24 hours after appointing to him to the post .However President Gotabhaya Rajapakshe had refused to accept his resignation and afterwards MP Sabry had decided to continue with his portfolio it has been revealed .

Galle Face Green Closed For Public Ahead Of The Massive Protest Campaign

Authorities have closed down the Galle Face Green In Colombo today(08) for public a day before the mass Protest campaign against President Gotabhaya Rajapakshe scheduled to be held there with the participation of One million People .

Around One Million People are scheduled to be gathered at the Galle Face Green in Colombo tomorrow(09) to protest against the President according to the Social media reports This Mass Protest Campaign is organized by the Public through Social Media .

However the Authorities have announced that the Galle Face Green will be closed for Public from today due to the development work .

Main Opposition To Submit A No Confidence Motion Against The Government

The main opposition "Samagi Janabalawegaya " Party is currently collecting Signatures from MP's for the proposed No Confidence Motion scheduled to be submitted against the Present government it has been reported .

Meanwhile leftist Janatha Wimukthi Peramuna (JVP ) has announced that the Party will support the proposed no confidence motion against the government . Even If there's an Impeachment Motion submitted against the President , party will support it" JVP MP Vijitha Hearth has stated .
