150 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (01)

 Another 150 Corona positives and 02 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (01) Increasing the total number of Corona Positives and Deaths reported so far to 661,781 and 16,479 respectively  according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS).

The deceased were 02 males over 60 Years of age the DGHS has stated .At the moment 8046 Corona Positives are being treated at Quarantine Centers ,Hospitals and under home care system it has been rev
ealed . 

President Issued An Extraordinary Gazette Notification Declaring A Public State Of Emergency In The Country

 President Gotabaya Rajapakshe has today (01) issued an extraordinary Gazette Notification declaring a public state of Emergency  in the country with effect from today (01).

Public State of Emergency  has been declared in the country to ensure public security and wellbeing as well as to maintain essential supplies and services continuously The gazette notification has stated ,

Police Curfew Has Been Imposed In Western Province .

 The Department Of Police had imposed Police Curfew in Western Province with effect from Midnight tonight (01) until 6 a.m tomorrow morning (02) it has been announced.

Public should  act according to the curfew guidelines during Curfew hours the Police department has stated .Those who are going abroad can travel to Katunayake International Airport during the curfew hours by using Passport as a Curfew pass according to the Police .

The reason  behind imposing the Police curfew is not given ,However several silent protest campaigns organized by Public were held in Colombo ,Beruwala ,Rathmalana and Moratuwa areas this evening against the Government .

Protesters In Front Of President's House Set Fire To Few Vehicles -Police Curfew Imposed In Few Areas

 The Protesters who were protested in front of the Road that leads to President' s house at Nugegoda (Colombo District ) had acted violently and set fire to few buses parked  there  including a bus belonging to Sri Lanka Army   it has been reported .

Due to the clashes occurred between protesters and forces 10 persons including few journalists had been injured    and admitted to Colombo National and South Colombo teaching hospitalist for treatment  IT  has been reported .

Police ,Srii Lanka  Army and Special Task force personal are being deployed in the area to keep law and order it has been announced .

Meanwhile Police curfew had been imposed in North Colombo .Southern and Central Colombo areas until further notice .
