Price Of A 400 Gramme .Milk Powder Pack Increased By Rs.250

 Milk Powder Importers have decided to increase the 400 gramme Milk Powder pack by  Rs.250 although there"s a severe shortage of Milk powder in the local market  it has been announced .


Accordingly the price of the Milk Powder pack will be increased from Rs.560 to Rs.790 the Milk Powder Importers had stated .

The rising prices of Milk powder in the world market and the depreceation of Sri lankan rupee against the US Dollar are the main  reasons behind the increasing of Milk powdwr prices Milk Powder Importers had announce .

A 24 Hour Long Water Cut In Colombo

 Due to a sudden breakdown of a Water pump ,A  24 hour long water cut has been  implemented in several areas in Colombo from tonight (18) the National Water Supplies and Drainage Board has announced ,


Accordingly this water cut will be implemented in Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia Municipal Council area ,Rathmalana ,Colombo -05,Colombo -06 ,Palawatte ,Battaramulla,UdahaMULLA AND Himbutana areas the Board has stated ,During the 24 hour long water cut , water supply in Colombo -04 will be under low pressure .

A Ship Carrying 40,000 Metric Tones Of Diesel Scheduled To Be Arrived This Sunday (20)-CEYPETCO

 A ship carrying the  first stock of Diesel received from neighboring India  under a loan scheme is scheduled to be arrived in the country this Sunday (20) according to the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CEPETCO) .


Accordingly a  stock of 40,000 metric tones of Diesel is scheduled to be arrived in the country it has been reported .
