Thirty One Corona Deaths Reported Today (11)

 A total of 31 Corona deaths had been reported today (11) in the Country ,Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 15,754 the Director General Of Health Services (DGHS ) has stated .


Accordingly 18 males and 13 females had died due to Corona infection the DGHS has stated .Out of the deceased 26 were over 60 years of age and 05 were belonged to 20-60 year age group it has been reported .

Another 1259 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (11)

Another 1259 Corona Positives had been reported in the country today (11) Increasing the total number of Corona Positives reported so far to 625,804 according to Epidemiology Unit .


At the moment 15,702 Corona Positives are being treated at Hospitals ,Quarantine Centers and under home care system the Unit has stated ,

Colombo District Court Had Issued Two Enjoining Orders Against Nurses Union And It's President Against Continuing The Ongoing Strike

 Colombo District Court has today (10) Issued two enjoining orders to prevent the continuing the ongoing Island Wide strike launched by 18 Health Professions including Nurses .These Enjoining orders had been issued accordance to request made by  Attorney General .


The Attorney General's Department has made explanations to the Colombo District Court regarding the difficulties faced by the hospitals as a result of the Health strike launched by Nurses ,Paramedics and Professions Supplementary to Medicine since last Monday  demanding solutions for 09 demands. 

Colombo District Court had issued two  enjoining orders against Government Nursing Officers Association and it' chairman Saman Ratnapriya preventing the continuation of the ongoing strike .

Meanwhile the strike entered it's fourth day today causing further difficulties for the patients in government hospitals .
