838 Corona PositIves Had Been Reported Toay (23)
A Total of 838 Corona positives had been reported in the country today (23) ,Increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 801,886 according to the Epidemiology Unit..A foreign arrival were among the Corona positives reported today
Accordingly 10,473 Corona positives are being treated at Quarantine Center ,Hospitals and under home care system the Unit ha stated.

Epidemiologist Appeal Public To Concern On Fever Condition These Days
Public shoud be concerned about fever condition these days as Corona infection and Dengue as well as a viral fever similar to Dengue are spreading in the island at present acvording to Epidemiologists.
Fever condition is the main symptom of all these diseases and therefore public need to pay attention and seek medical advise if they have a fever condition these days Epidemiologists have warned .
Meanwhile Corona wards in many Hospitals are surging at present and Corona infection among Children and pregnent mothers are on the increase health authorities have stated .
An Ialand Wide Power Cuts To Be Imposed Again Fron This Tuesday(23)
As the fuel sipplied to many powe plants in the island to generate power is schduled to be over by this Tuesdsy (25) there will be an island wide power cuts from Tuesday night onwards according to Ceylon Electricity Board(CEB).
The Stock of Diesel supplied by the Ceylon Petroleum Cprporation to power plants are scheduled to be over by this Tuesday this Islanwide power cut is inevitable the CEB has stated
Due to the fuel shortage 183 Mega watt power will be lost by the national power grid by this Tuesday according to experts .

Another 75 Omicron Positives Had Been Reported Today (22)
Another 75 "Omicron " positives had been identified in Sri Lanka through the Genome Sequencing Tests carried out on 78 samples collected from the local community according to the Director of Allergy ,Immunology and Cell biology Unit of the Department of Immunology and Molecular Medicine of Sri Jayawardenapura University in Colombo Dr.Chandima Jeewandara. With these 75 "Omicon positives the total number of "Omicron Positives reported s in Sri Lanka had risen to 280 it has been reported ,
Out of the 78 Samples that had been tested 03 were infected with Delta Dr.Jeewandara had stated .These samples were sequenced from 01 st.02nd and 03rd week of January he has further said .
