 Another 10,144 Corona positives had been recovered and discharged today (19) according to the health authorities ,

Accordingly the total number of Corona positives that had been recovered and discharged from  hospitals so far had risen to 557,326 the authorities had stated.

551 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (19)

 A total of 551 Corona positives had been reported in the country today(19) Increasing the total number of Corona Positives reported so far to 579,685 according to Epidemiology Unit ,

Accordingly 7607 Corona Positives are being treated at Hospitals ,Quarantine Centers and under home care system the Unit has stated .Only 8815 PCR tests and 4415 Rapid Antigen tests had been performed in the country yesterday (18) it has been revealed ,

18 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (19)

 Another 18 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (19)  ,Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 14,752 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS) .

.Accordingly 11 males and 07 females had died due to Corona infection the DGHS has stated ,Out of the deceased 16 were over 60 years old and 02 were belonged to the 30-60 age group it has been revealed .

Seventeen Pilgrims Were Injured Due To A Toppling Of A Bus

Seventeen pilgrims travelling from Kilinochchi to Katragama   were injured and hospitalized after the Bus  they were travelling was toppled over the road near Galode Bridge in Padiyathalawa (Easteren province) this morning (19) according to police .  
 

The injured were admitted to Mahaoya Hospital for treatment .The incident occurred as a result of  failure of the driver to control the Bus according to Police ,Police had arrested the Bus driver over the incident ,

Consumer Affairs Authority Given Approval To Land A Stock Of Litro Gas Rejected Earlier

 The Consumer Affairs Authority had given approval to land the stock of Gas imported by Litro Gas company from the ship arrived in Colombo Harbor after confirming the stock is stored up to the standard .Earlier Consumer Affairs  Authority  had rejected accepting  the stock of imported Gas due to the quality  failure issues .

Consumer Affairs' Authority has decided to give approval to other ship which brought a stock of Gas proves as in low quality if the Gas Company  is willing to store Gas according to the required standard .
