Sri Lankan Government To Pay A Sum Of 6.7 Million US Dollars To The Chinese Fertilizer Company Which Provides A Low Quality Fertilizer Stock

 Cabinet has decided to pay 6.7 million US dollars as compensation to the Chinese Organic Fertilizer Company "Qingdao Seawin Biotech Group Company which provided a stock of Organic Fertilizer contains  harmful bacteria according to the government .

This compensation will be paid to the Chinese Fertilizer Company accordance to the advise issued by  Attorney General it has been announced .Through  this the financial scandal risen due to the  agreement made between  Colombo Commercial Fertilizer Company and Lanka Fertilizer Company cam be solved the  authorities had stated ,

With this decision to pay a compensation, The Chinese ship carrying the stock of rejected organic fertilizer which  anchored in the  Sri Lankan sea coast  is scheduled to return to  China .

20 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (14)

 A total of 20 Corona deaths had been reported today (14) in the country ,Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 14 .661 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS) ,

Accordingly 10 males and 10 females had died due to Corona infection the DGHS has stated ,Out of the deceased 16 were over the age of 60 years and 02 were belonged to 30-60 year age group it has been revealed .Another two of the deceased were under 30 years old.

An Island Wide Postal Strike Had Been Launched This Evening (13)

 Postal workers had launched an Island wide strike from 4 p.m today (13) until midnight tomorrow(14) demanding solutions for unsolved demands of the Postal service according to Joint Postal Trade Unions Front ,

The strike had been launched due to the failure of talks held between the Trade Union front representatives and the Secretary to the Ministry Of Postal Services according to Trade Union leaders .All postal service activities including distributing letters and parcels will be paralyzed tomorrow (14) due to this strike action  they have stated ,

Driver And His Assistant Were Injured And Hospitalized Due To A Toppling Of A Bowser

 The driver and his assistant were injured and Hospitalized when the Fuel Bowser  they were in toppled over the road near the Garment  factory in Ginihathhena town(Central Province ) according to the Ginigathhena Police .

The injured driver and his assistant were stuck inside the Bowser  and after the toppling of the vehicle and Police officers along with the residents of the area had rescued them and admitted to the Ginigathhena Provincial Hospital it has been reported ,

Around  33,000 liters of Diesel carried by the Bowser leaked as a result of the accident according to reports .
