Over 30 Year Olds Lives In Colombo Municipal Council Area To Receive Booster Vaccine Dose Tomorrow (09)

 Health Authorities have decided to administer the Booster Vaccine dose for over 30 year old citizens lives within Colombo Municipal Council area from tomorrow (09).

The authorities are due to send sms to those live in Municipal Council area who are qualify to receive the Booster vaccine dose it has been announced ,

744 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (09)

 Another 744 Corona Positives had been reported in the country today (09) Increasing the total number of Corona Positives reported  so far to 570,672 according to Epidemiology Unit .

At the moment 12,294 Corona Positives are being treated at Hospitals ,Quarantine Centers and Under home care system .

22 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (09)

 Another 22 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (09) ,Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 14,555. according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS).

Accordingly 13 males and 09 females had died due to Corona infection the DGHS has stated .Out of the deceased 16 were over 60 years of age and 06 were belonged to 30 -60 year age group it has been revealed ,

Police Environment Unit To Take Action Against Those Spitting On Roads

Police authorities had informed the  Police Environment Unit   to enforce the law strictly against those who are spitting on roads and spitting after chewing Betel leaves with effect from today (08).

The senior superintendent of Police (SSP) Roshan Rajapakshe had instructed the Police Environment Unit to enforce the law against those who are spitting on roads to prevent getting Roads dirt and to prevent the spread of Corona it has been revealed ,

Those who are spitting on roads can be arrested and produced before the court under the penal code according to the authorities .
