Over 1000 School Children And More Then 100 Teachers In Anuradhapura Distrct Had Tested Positive For Corona Virus

 Over 1000 School Children and more than  100 teachers attached to Schools in Anuradhapaura District had tested positive for Corona virus according to the Anuradhapura Distrct MP attached to main opposition Samgijanabalawegaya party Rohana Bandara .

Corona deaths in Anuradhapura District are on the rise and large number of Corona positives are being reported in villages and towns in the district more then before MP Bandara had stated in Parliament today (02).The MP had appealed the authorities to increase the number of PCR tests performs in the district in view of identifying more positives from the District .

27 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (02)

 Another 27 Corona deaths had been reported in the Island today (02) Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 14,399 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS).

Accordingly 16 males and 11 females had died due to Corona infection  the DGHS has stated. Out of the deceased 19 were over 60 years of age and 08 were belonged to the age group 30-60 it has been revealed .

Electrical EngineerA Had Tightened The Work To Rule Campaign

 The work to rule campaign launched by a group of Engineers attached to Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB)  is being tightened further from today (01) according to the CEB Engineers Union.

Accordingly the Electrical engineers attached to the Ceylon Electricity Board had decided to withdraw from all  services of the Electricity Board from 4.15 p.m today ,This work to rule campaign had been launched by the Electrical Engineers against selling shares of  Yugadanaw Power plant to an American company
