 Wheat flour manufacturers had increased the price of a Kilo Gramme of Wheat Flour by Rs.18.50 according to market sources .

At present There's a shortage of Wheat flour in the local market as well It has been revealed ,

 A total of  742 Corona Positives had been reported in the Country today (28) ,Increasing the total number of Corona Positives reported so far to 562,520 according to Epidemiology Unit .

At the moment 18,553 Corona positives are being reported in Hospitals ,Quarantine Centers and under Home care system the Unit has stated .

27 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (28)

 Another 27 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (28) ,Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 14,305 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS).

Accordingly 14 males and 13 females had died due to Corona infection the DGHS has stated .Out of the deceased 22 were over 60 years of age and 05 were belonged to the age group 30-60 years it has been revealed .

Kandy -Colombo Main Road Has Been Closed Until Tomorrow Morning

 The Kandy -Colombo main road has been  closed again  from Lower Kadugannawa (Pahala Kadugannawa ) area from 12 in the midnight today (27) until 6 a.m tomorrow (28) according to Road Development Authority .

This step has been taken due to the landslide threat occurred in the area following the prevailing adverse weather the Authority has stated ,The Road was closed for few days due to the landslide threat few weeks back and it was reopened again ,

Motorists are being advised to use an alternative routes when travelling ,
