A Massive 28 Hour Water Cut Has Been Imposed In Many Areas In Colombo

A 28 hour massive water cut has been imposed in several areas of Colombo including Colombo -04,05,06 ,07 and 08 and Kotte and Kaduwela Municipal Councils as well as in Maharagama and Boralasgamuwa Urban Council areas from 8 p.m today (13) until 12 midnight tomorrow(14) according to the National Water Supplies and Drainage Board .

This water cut is being imposed amidst Corona pandemic to repair a water leak occurred in the main pipe line from Ambathale to Kotte the Water Board has announced ,

716 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (13)

A Total of 716 Corona positives had been reported in the country today (13) ,Increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 549,500 according to the Epidemiology Unit .

At the moment 12,125 Corona Positives are being treated at Hospitals ,Quarantine Centers and under Home Care system the Unit has stated ,

Another 22 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (13)

Another 22 Corona Positives had died today (13) ,increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 13,972 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS).

Accordingly 18 males and 04 females had died due to Corona infection the DGHS has stated .Out of the deceased 17 were over 60 years of age and 05 were belonged to the 30-60 year age group it has been revealed .
