Around 15 Had Died And Twenty Eight Thousand Were Affected Due To Adverse Weather Condition

Over 28,000 persons are being affected and around 15 persons had died due to the Floods ,Landslides ,Storms and winds occurred at the 17 districts in the island caused by Heavy showers prevailing in the island at present according to the Disaster Management Center.

Those residents who are being displaced as a result of the natural disasters are being located at their relatives houses and safe places according to sources.

The most affected area is Mannar District where little more than 12,500 persons are being displaced due to t he natural disasters ,

17 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (09)

Another 17 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (09) ,Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 13,892 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS).

Accordingly 10 males and 07 females had died due to Corona infection today the DFHS has announced .Out of the deceased 14 were over 60 years pf age and 02 were belonged to the 30-60 year age group .One of the deceased was under 30 years it has been revealed .

718 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (09)

A Total of 718 Corona positives had been reported in the country today (09) ,Increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 546,653 according to Epidemiology Unit .

At the moment 10,577 Corona Positives are being treated at Hospitals ,e Centers and under Home care system .

Another 6689 Corona positives had been recovered and discharged from Hospitals and Quarantine Centers today .Increasing the total number of Corona Positives that had been recovered and discharged so far to 522,184 it has been reported ,
