Central Bank Governor Has Been Given The Status Of A Cabinet ,MON

The Central Bank Governor Ajith Nivad Cabral has been given the status of a Cabinet Minister according to the Ministry Of Home Affairs .

According to the latest table of precedence of the government the Central Bank Governor has been ranked fifth and his designation now be equal to t he Opposition Leader ,Cabinet Minsters and Field Marshal al the Ministry has stated .

Another 556 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (26)

A Total of 556 Corona positives had been reported today (26) according to the Epidemiology Unit .With these positives the total number of Corona positives reported so far in the country had risen to 537,201 the Unit has stated .

At the moment 19,544 Corona positives are being treated at Hospitals /Quarantine Centers and under Home Care system it has been revealed .

Only 5820 PCR tests and 2892 Rapid Antigen tests had been performed in the country yesterday (25).

14 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (26)

Another 14 Corona deaths had been reported today (26) in the country ,Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 13,654 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS) .

Accordingly 09 males and 05 females had died yesterday due to Corona infection .Out of the deceased 11 were over 60 years of age and 02 were belonged to the age group 30-60 years old .One of the deceased was under 30 years old it has been revealed .
