Inter Provincial Travel Restrictions Had Been Extended
The Current Inter Provincial Travel Restrictions imposed in the Island had been extended until 31st of October uder the advise of President Gotabaya Rajapakshe the head of the National Covid-19 Prevention Action Center Army Commander General Shavendre De silva has stated today (20)
Earlier the Restrictions are scheduled to be lifted at 4 a.m. tomorrow (21) .President had advised to extend the current Inter provincial Travel restrictions as a step to prevent the spreading of Corona virus further General Shavendre De silva has stated ,
Meanwhile many had travelled outstations from Western province during last few days illegally by violating the Inter provincial restrictions Government authorities had stated.
539 Corona Positives Were Reported Today (20)
At the moment 26,088 Corona positives are being treated at Hospitals /Quarantine Centers and under Home care system the Unit Has stated .
A total 4767 PCR Tests and 2722 Rapid Antigen Tests had been performed in te country yesterday .
Another 18 Corona Deaths Reported Today (20)
Again 18 Corona Deaths had been reported by the Director General Of Health Services (DGHS) today (20) as yesterday (19) ,increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 13,525.
Accordingly 09 males and 09 females had died due to Corona infection today the DGHS has announced .Out of the deceased 11 were over 60 years of age and 06 were belonged to 30-60 year age group .One of the deceased was under 30 years of age it has been revealed ,
