Corona Death Rate In Sri Lanka Had Risen To 2.54 Percent
The Corona death rate of the Country has been increased to 2.54 percent according to Health Promotions Bureau .
The global Corona death rate has been dropped to 2.03 percent and the death rate in USA has dropped to 1.63 it has been reported .
Meanwhile 7147 "PCR" Tests and 3711 Rapid Antigen Tests had been performed in the country yesterday (17).
570 Coeona Positives Reorted today (18)
A Total of 570 Corona positives had been reported today (18) increasing the total number of Corona positives that had been reported so far to 532,218 the Epidemiology Unit has stated .
At the moment 25,736 Corona Positives are being treated at Government /Private hospitals /Quarantine Centers and under home care system the Unit has stated .
Another 354 Corona positives had been recovered and discharged from hospitals today increasing the total number of Corona positives recovered and discharged from hospitals so far to 492,975 .
23 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (18)
Another 23 Corona deaths had been reported today (18) in the country ,Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 13,507 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS).
Accordingly 13 females and 10 males had died due to Corona infection today the DGHS has announced .Out of the deceased 21 were over 60 years of age and 02 were belonged to 30-60 year age group it has been revealed .
