 Another 649 Corona Positives had been reported in the country today (16) ,Increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 531,070 according to the Epidemiology Unit ,

At the moment 25,293 Corona Positives are being treated at Hospitals /Quarantine Centers and Under Home Care system the Unit has stated .

A Total of 6513 "PCR" Tests and 3679 Rapid Antigen Tests had been performed in the country yesterday (15).

23 Corona Deaths Were Reported Today (16)

 Another 23 Corona deaths  had been reported in the country today (16) ,Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 13,472 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS) .

Accordingly 17 males and 06 females had died due to the Corona infection the DGHS has announced .Out of the deceased 18 were over 60 years of age and 05 were belonged to the 30-60 year age group .

An Ugandan Female Was Arrested With 100 Cocaine Pills Hidden Inside Her Stomach

 Officers attached to the Narcotic Control Unit of the Sri Lanka Customs had arrested an Ugandan female who had arrived in Sri Lanka with 100 Cocaine pills hidden inside her stomach it has been reported .

The 45 year old female who had arrived in from Uganda via Qatar  had been arrested due to suspicion  whilst attempting to leave from  Airport through the departure longue the Customs officers had stated 

Authorities had removed 51 Cocaine pills out from her stomach and the suspected female is due to be handed over to the Police Narcotic Bureau for further investigations ,

Another 20 Corona Deaths Reported Today (15)

A Total of 20 Corona deaths had been reported today (15) in the country ,Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 13,449 according to the Director General Of Health Services (DGHS) .

Accordingly 11 males and 09 females had died due to Corona infection the DGHS has stated .Out of the deceased 14 were over 60 years of age and 05 were belonged to the age group 30-60 years .One of the deceased was under 30 years old .

666 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (15)

 Another 666 Corona Positives had been reported in the Country today (15) increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 530,421 according to Epidemiology Unit .

At the moment 25,014 Corona Positives are being treated at Government /Private hospitals /Quarantine Centers and Under Home Care System  the Unit has stated .

A total of 7069 PCR Tests and 3474 Rapid Antigen Tests had been performed during yesterday (14).
