Another 61 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (29)
Another 61 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (29) increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 12 ,847 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS) .
Accordingly 36 females and 25 males had died due to Corona infection the DGHS has announced ,Out of the deceased 47 were over 60 years of age and 14 were belonged to 20-60 years age group it has been revealed ,
941 Corona Positives Reported Today (29)
A t total of 941 Corona positives had been reported in the country today (29) increasing the total number of Corona Positives reported so far to 516,465 according to Epidemiology Unit ,
At the moment 46,761 Corona Positives are being treated at Government /Private Hospitals /Quarantine Centers and under home care system .
A total of 7231 PCR " tests had been performed yesterday *28) in the country according to reports .
All Island Quarantine Curfew To Be Lifted From Friday (01) Morning
The All island quarantine curfew which has been imposed since 20th of Augite to curb the spread of Corona pandemic in the country is scheduled to be lifted from 4 a.m this Friday (01) under the instructions of President Gotabaya Rajapakshe the head of the National Covid-19 Prevention Center General Shavendre De Silva.
After the lifting of Quarantine Curfew which has proved as a complete failure regarding restricting peoples movement in view of curbing the spread of Corona pandemic ,the new health guidelines on how to maintain the services are scheduled to be issued tomorrow (23) General Silva has stated ..
Although the Quarantine curfew had imposed in the country all the vehicles except buses and trains are seen on roads and people are moving freely as well .
