2314 Corona Positives Reported Today (15)

 A total of 2314 Corona Positives had been reported today (15) in the country ,Increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far  to 496,423 according to Epidemiology Unit . 

At the moment 57,470 Corona positives are being treated in Government /Private hospitals ,Quarantine centers and under home care system the Unit has stated .

Meanwhile Epidemiology Unit has toddy  added a number of delayed reported cases   for the last 09 days (from 06-09-2021 to 14-09-2021 )

A Hand Grenade Had Been Recovered At Lanka Hospital In Narahenpita

A hand grenade had been recovered at Lanka Hospitals (Formerly Apollo) in Narahenapita (Colombo ) this noon (14) according to Police ,The Grenade was located at a Toilet in the  first floor of the Hospital it has been revealed ,

The Bomb disposal unit attached to the Special Police Task Force had arrived at  the scene and found that the Hand grenade was not a live one ,Police are conducting an investigations on the incident ,

Veteran Athlete Susanthika Jayasinghe Had Tested Positive For Corona

 Veteran  Sri lankan Athlete ,Olympic silver medalist  Susanthika Jayasinghe  and her tow children had tested positive for Corona virus according to the sources .

They  are being currently quarantined at home under medical supervision the sources have stated .

136 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (14)

 A total of 136 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (14) increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 11,567 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS) .

Accordingly 76 males and 60 females had died due to Corona infection today the DGHS has stated ,Out of the deceased 106 were over 60 years of age and 28 were belonged to the 30-60 year age group it has been revealed ,Two of the deceased were under 30 years old .

2475 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (14)

 Another 2475 Corona Positives had been reported in the island today (14) according to the Epidemiology Unit ,Accordingly with this the total number of Corona Positives reported so far had risen to 490,957 the9Unit has stated
