186 Corona Deaths Were Reported Today (19)

 Another 186 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (19) ,increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 6790  the Director General of Health Services had announced ,

Accordingly 111 males and 75 females had  died due to the corona infection ,Out of the deceased 147 were of the ages over 60 years and 35 were belonged to the age group 30 -60 ,There were 4 deaths of under 30 years old ,

3806 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today

 A total of 3806 Corona positives had been identified in the country today (19) increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 373165 according ii Ministry Of Health 

 .At the moment 47,661 Corona Positives are being treated at Government hospitals and Quarantine Center it has been revered     

Chief Prelates Of Asgiriya And Malawatte Chapters Had Requested President To Lockdown The Country

 The chief prelates of Asgiriya and Malawathu chapters had today (19)  requested the President Gotabaya Rajapaskhe to listn to Medical specialists and take steps  to lockdown the country atleast for a week period to prevent the spreading of Corona virus .

As the Public is facing enormous difficulties as  a result of the current Corona pandemic  Government should take an immediate action to lockdown the country to prevent a  prevent further chaos Chief prelates had stated .Both Prelates of Asgiriya and Malawatte chapters had praised the ongoing Corona vaccination programme in the country's ,

12 Parliament Employees Tested Positive For Corona Virus Today (18)

 Out of the 275 Parliamentarians ,Parliament employees and media personal who had undergone Rapid Antigen Tests today (18) 12 Parliament Employees had been tested positive for Corona virus according to sources .

As fee employees attached to Parliament Kitchen had been also tested positive for Corona virus authorities had closed down the Parliament kitchen all cafes in the premises with immediate effect ,

The next Parliamentary session is  scheduled to be convened on 06th of September and the authorities had decided to call few employees at a time  due to the risk of Corona spread ,
