2329 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (29)

 A total of 2329 Corona positives had been reported in the country today (29) increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 304,202 according to Director General Of Health Services .


Accordingly 26,448 Corona positives are being treated at Government Hospitals and Quarantine Centers at the moment ,

66 Corona Deaths Reported Today (29)

 Another 66 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (29) increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 4324 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS)

Out of the Corona deaths reported today 41 were males and 25 were females the DGHS has announced  ,49 of the deceased were of the ages over 60 years and 17 were of the ages 30-60 it has  been revealed ,

A Stock Of 728,460 doses of Astra-Zeneca Vaccines Is Scheduled To Be Arrived In Sri Lnka This Saturday (31)

 Sri Lanka is due to receive 728,460 doses of Oxford=Astra  zeneca vaccines this Saturday (31) from Japan under the "Covax"scheme  of World Health Organization .These doses are mainly scheduled to be used  as the second dose of those who had only received the first dose of the vaccine it has been announced  

Around 540.000 persons  are due to be vaccinated through these doses according
to Health Officials .
