1229. Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (07)

 A total of 1229 Corona Positives had Been Reported in the country today (07) increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 268,676 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

At the moment 27,232 Corona positives are being treated at Government hospitals and treatment centers .

All Protests And Public Meetings Are Being Banned

 All protests and public meeting are being banned with effect from yesterday (06) in view of the current Corona spread the Police Media Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana .

Those who act against this bqn will be punished under rhe  quarantine. Law DIG Rohana has stated .

Health Strike Had Ended Yesterday (06)

 The Island wide strike launched by Professions Supplementary to Medicine (PSM )and Para Medical officers has ended last noon (06)after the promise made by Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi to submit a cabinet paper to solve the major demands of the strikers .

The Health strike had caused the paralyzing of many health services in government hospitals including lab and radiography tests and reduction of daily PCR tests in the country .
