PSM And Para Medics Had Launched A Continuous Island Wide Strike Paralyzing Hospital Services And Performing "PCR " Tests

 Due to the sudden Island wide strike launched by Professions supplementary to Medicine and Para medical services officers last Saturday (03rd0 morning issuing of drugs to OPD Clinic patients ,Radiography tests ,Lab tests and EEG /ECG tests had been paralyzed according to the Hospital sources ,

Patients are facing enormous difficulties due to this strike launched by 13 trade unions representing Professions supplementary to medicine and para medical services including public health inspectors and  ,midwives ,

Even the number of daily "PCR " tests performs are being reduced and sending Corona positives to treatment centers too being paralyzed as a result of the strike it has  been revealed , 

Inter Provincial Travel Restrictions To Continue For Another Two Weeks --Bars,Pubs And Casinos Closed further ,Shopping Malls And SPA's Allowed To Open From Today (05)

 Government has decided to extend the Inter provincial travel restrictions imposed to control the Corona pandemic for another two weeks  with effect from today (05) according to the government sources

However some strict rules are being recommended to implement in Westerns province based on the number of Corona cases reported daily and accordingly public transport is being allowed to operate in the province with only 30 percent of the total capacity and in outstation areas with 50 percent of the total capacity .Pubs ,Bars ,Betting Centers Outdoor gardens ,Beaches Casinos and Night clubs are being closed further ,However SPa/s Barber shops and hair dressers salons are being allowed to open from today according to Health guidelines 

The logic behind the opening of SPA's under present circumstances is not clear according to health professionals as the functions in these centers cannot be done whilst adapting social distance rule ,

Inter provincial Bus and Rail services will not been allowed further and restaurants and eateries are being allowed to open from today whilst adapting strict health guidelines ,Few people will be allowed to dine in restaurants from today and retails shops and shopping malls are also being allowed to open under strict guidelines from today .,  

1323 Corona Positives Had Been Recovered And Discharged From Hospitals And Treatment Centers Yesterday (04)

 A total of 1323 Corona Positives had  been recovered and discharged from Hospitals and treatment centers yesterday (04) according to the National Covid -19 Prevention Center ,Accordingly a total number of 233,317 Corona positives had been recovered and discharged up to date ,

45 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Yesterday (04)

 A total of 45 Corona deaths had been reported yesterday (04) increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far in the country to 3236 according to the National Covid -19 Prevention Center ,

Accordingly 25 females and 20 males had died due to the Covid Pneumonia and complications of non communicable diseases they have suffered from as as result of corona infection it has been revealed ,

Out of the deceased 35 were of the ages over 60 years it has been revealed ,Meanwhile 34 Corona deaths had been reported in the country on Saturday (03).

37 Corona Deaths Were Reported Yesterday (02)

 Another 37 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (02) increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 3,157 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly 25 males and 12 males had died due to Covid Pneumonia and complications occurred due to the non communicable diseases they have suffered from.as a result of the Corona infection it has been revealed .

Out of the deceased 28 were of the age over 60 years old a cording to reports .

1773 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (02)

 A total of 1773 Corona positives were reported in the country today (02) increasing the total number of  corona positives reported so far to 262,795  according to the National Covid-19 Prevention center ,

At the moment 30,134 Corona positives are being treated at Government hospitals and treatment centers
