Island Wide Travel Restrictions To Be Lifted This Monday Morning Amidst Rising Number Of Corona Infections
2738 Corona Positives Were Reported Yesterday (10)
A total of 2738 Corona positives had been reported in the country yesterday (10) ,raising the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 216,134 according to National Covid-10 Prevention Center .
Accordingly majority of the Corona positives reported yesterday were from Gampaha Destruct (575) and 339 Positives were reported from Colombo District .At the moment 31,986 Corona positives are being treated at Government hospitals and quarantine centers ,
Meanwhile 1038 persons were arrested yesterday by the police over violating quarantine laws .

There's A Need To Tighten The Travel Restrictions Imposed At Present To Reduce The Corona Infections In The Country -Dr .Padma Gunarathne
As the travel restrictions imposed throughout the Island at present to Curb Corona pandamic is too soft , the restrictions Should be tightened if there's a need to reduce the number of daily Infections and controlling the spread of the infection according to the President of Sri Lanka Medical Association Dr .Padma Gunarathne .
There's a rise of the number of critically ill Corona positives who needs intensive care treatment or Oxygen at hospitals since last couple of weeks and need to tightened the restrictions imposed to combat corona pandamic to ease the burden face by the hospitals due to the rising number of Corona infections Dr Gunarathne has stated .
Public need to stay at home as much as possible these days without travelling and the essential goods should be delivered at doorstep of every household by vendors and shops if we want to get benefits of The current Anti Corona travel restrictions she has stated .
