Eight Grama Niladari Divisions Of Colombo And Galle Districts Had Been Isolated Since This Morning (08)

 Eight Grama Seva Niladari Divisions (Rural Development Officer areas ) in Colombo And Galle districts had been isolated since 5 a.m this morning (08) due to the surge of Corona infections according to Health authorities .

AcordinglyThree Grama Niladari Divisions in Piliyandala and Maharagama Police divisions of Colombo district and 05 Grama Niladari Divisions of Habaraduwa police division in Galle District had bern isolated since this morning .

19 Corona Deaths Were Reported Yesterday (07)

 Another 19 Corona deaths had been reported in the country yesterday (07),Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 764 according to National Covid -19  Prevention Center .This is the highest number of Corona deaths reported in the country on a single day the Center has stated .

Accordingly 11 males and 08 females resided in mostly outstation areas including Poddala,Hikkaduwa,Raddolugama ,Ragama,Wadduwa,Rathmalana ,Dehiattakandiya ,Badulla  ,And Colombo -03 had died due to Covid Pneumonia and the complications of the non communicable diseases suffered by them as a result of Corona infection it has been revealed .

The deceased were of the ages 45-86 years it has been revealed .

Another 11 Corona Deaths had been reported in the country on last Thursday (06).

Another 11 Corona deaths were reported today (06) increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 745000

Sri Lanka Banned Arrival Indian Passangers To The Country

 Sri Lanka has today (06) banned all Passangers arriving  in from India to the country  until further notice due to the surge of Corona cases in India according to Civil Aviation Authority .

This step has been taken accordance to the instructions of the Health ministry due to the surge of Corona cases in India it has been revealed .India has recorded more than 412,000 corona cases during last 24 hours .

Vaccinating Sputnik -V Corona Vaccines Began At Gothatuwa Area

 Vaccinating risk groups from Russia made  - Sputnik -V vaccine had began today/(06) in Gothhatuwa area in Colombo .Sri Lanka had received 15,000 doses of the vaccine from it's maker Gamalaya institute in Russia last Tuesday (04) night although had ordered 13 million doses from the institute .

Risk group at Gothhatuwa area of the ages 30-60 will be vaccinated with this vaccine from.todat health authorities had stated .

Meanwhile Sri Lanka had faced a shortage of 600,000 doses of Oxford -AstraZeneca  Covishield Anti Corona vaccines to complete of the second dose of that vaccine  .

14 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Yesterday (05)-Mahority Were Females

 Another 14 Corona deaths had been reported in the country yesterday (05) increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported  so far to 734 National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly 08 females and 06 males had died due to the Covid pneumonia and complications related to non communicable diseases the Center had stated .This is the highest  number of Corona deaths. Reportedo..on  a single day .The deceased females were of the ages 35-84 years and the males were of the ages 55-87 years it has been revealed .

Meanwhile 11 Corona deaths were reported in the country last Tuesday (04).
