Two Corona Deaths Were Reported Yesterday (08)

 Another 02 Corona deaths had been reported in the Country yesterday (08),Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 593 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly  A 70. Year old male resided at Dehiwala area and a 79 year old female resided at Kondawil.in Jaffna  District had died due to the Covid Pneumonia and complications of Non communicable diseases they have suffered from as a result of Corona infection. The center has stated 

Twelve Corona Positives Infected With Foreign Corona Virus Variants Identified

 Twelve Corona positives Infected with three Foreign Corona virus variants had been identified from few areas including Colombo District according to The director of the institute of  Allergies attached to Sri Jayawardanapura University Dr.Chandima Jeewandara .

Accordingly during the tests carried out by the institute regarding samples taken from 55 Corona positives 07 of them had been identified as infected with the  Contagious  British Corona virus variant ,Two were infected with South African variant and three were identified as infected with Denmark Corona virus variant  

Mrs World Caroline Jury And Her Trainer Had Been Arrested-Later Bailed

Cinnamon Gardens police have today (08)arrested the Mrs World -2020 Caroline Jury and her trainer Chula Pathmendra over the charges of  forcibly removing the crown presented to the winner of Mrs Sri Lanka 2021 pageant Pushpika de silva  and Injuring her head 

The two females suspects had been arrested when they had arrived at Cinnamon Gardens police to give a statement regarding the incident .However later both of them.were granted police bail and they are due to be appeared  in court   on 19 th April .  .

309 Corona Positives Repoetextudzg

 Another 309 Corona positives had been reported in the country today (08),Increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 94,336 according to National Covi-197ñn Prevention Center  

Accordingly 2699 Corona positives are being treated at Government. Hospitals and quarantine centers ..

190 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (07)

 A total of 190 Corona Positives had been reported in the country today (07) raising the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 93,993 according to the National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

At the moment 2485 Corona positives are being treated at Government Hospitals and Quarantine Centers .

Three Corona Deaths Reported Today (07)

 Three Corona deaths had been reported today (07) in the country ,increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 591 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly two males and a female resided at Homagama ,Thanmalvila and
areas had died due to the Covid- Pneumonia and the complications of the non communicable diseases they have suffered from caused by Corona infection .The deceased were of the ages 89,38 and 60 years it has

been revealed ,
