Again Some Health Officials attached to the Ministry Of Health had taken a wrong decision under the Political influence to vaccinate those of the ages over 30 in Risk Areas of Western province with the limited Number of Vaccines available although over 60 age group is the highest risk group can be exposed to Corona virus in the country .

As these vaccination centers are administering Corona vaccines for the over 30 age group most people of the ages 30-60 are seen in long Queues at Centers during last few days to get the vaccine blocking the way for over 60 age group .Only few Centers in Colombo and Gampaha districts are being functioned proritising over 60 age group when administering Corona vaccines..

Isolation Of Five Roads In Katthankudy MOH Area Had Bern Lifted

The isolation of five toads belonging to Katthankudy MOH area at Batticaloa District had been lifted since 5 a.m yesterday (01)morning according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly isolation of five Roads in Katthankudy MOH area including Gafrror Street and Telecom.Riad -First Cross street isolated sometime back to prevent the spreading of Corona virus had been lifted last morning the Center has stated .

A total of 05 Corona deaths had been reported yesterday (01) in the country ,Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 476 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly 03 Males and 02 Females resided at Ganemulla ,Colombo -10, Bulathkohupitiya ,Pujapitiya and Kandy had died due to the complications of non communicable diseases they have suffered x from the Center has stated .

The deceased were of the ages 73,75,83,61 and 75 years it has been revealed .

303 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (01)

Another 303 Corona Positives had been reported in the country today (01),Increasing the total number of Corona Positives reported so far to 83,552 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

According to the Center all Corona positives reported today were contacts of the previous Corona positives reported from several Corona clusters. However according to the Public Health inspectors tracing of the contacts of Corona positives is being limited by the health authorities .

At the moment 3654 Corona Positives are being treated at Government hospitals and treatment centers .
