303 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (01)

 Another 303 Corona Positives had been reported in the country today (01),Increasing the total number of Corona Positives reported so far to 83,552 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

According to the Center  all Corona  positives reported today were contacts of the previous Corona positives reported from several Corona clusters. However according to the Public Health inspectors  tracing of  the contacts of  Corona positives is being limited  by the health authorities .

At the moment 3654 Corona Positives are being treated at Government hospitals and treatment centers .

Twenty. Eight Females At Walapane Quarantine Center Had Launched A Protest Campaign Against Poor Facilities

 Twenty Eight females who are under quarantine at  a Corona Quarantine center at Walapane area in Nuwara Eliya  District had launched a hunger strike since this morning (28) to protest against the low quality meals and sanitary. Factories they are being received at the Center it had been revealed .

Accordingly the protesting Females had stated that the rice provided at the center for meal cannot be consumed due to poor quality and there's no proper toilet facilities and a place to.heat the water when needed .The Walapane Quarantine center is located at Walapane Provincial hospital and residents of  nearby areas including Walapane ,Bagawanthalawa ,Ginigathhena and Hanguramketha areas are being treated in the center .

Another Seven Corona Deaths Reported

 Another 07 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (28),increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 471 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly 06 Males and a female had died due to the complications off non communicable diseases they have suffered from.as a result of Corona infection the center has stated .The deceased were residents of Kurunagala , Anuradhapura ,Gampaha,,Rukgalwila, ,Demalagama ,Colombo -05 and Pannipitiya areas  and of the ages  56,57,59,79,51,81 and 87 years it has been revealed .
