Another 514 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Yesterday (18)

 A total of 522 Corona positives had been reported yesterday (18) in the country ,increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 78 ,420 according to the National Covid -19 Prevention Center .Out of these Corona positives 501 were locals and 13 were  foreign returnees .

The majority of these positives which was 105 were reported from Colombo district ,

All these positives reported yesterday were contacts of Previous Corona positives reported from Paliyagoda Corona cluster the Center has stated .During last few days the number of "PCR " tests performed in the country as well as issuing of "PCR " test results  had been reduced due to some internal problems and as a result the number of Positives reported daily too were decreased  the Health Ministry sources have stated .

At the moment 6167 Corona positives are being treated at Government Hospitals and Treatment centers .

Eight More Corona Deaths Reported Yesterday (18)- A 20 Year Old Female Among Them

 Another 08 Corona deaths had been reported in the country yesterday (18),Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 430 according to the National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly five males and three females resided at Dematagoda ,Borella ,Meegoda, ,Dekatana ,Rideemaliyadda,,Maradana ,Keselwatte and Wattala areas had died due to the complications of Non communicable diseases they have suffered from As a result of Corona infection the Center has stated .

A 20 year old female resident of Rideemaliyadda area who had died due to a severe respiratory infection as a result of Covid pneumonia at Badulla General hospital was the youngest among Corona victims reported yesterday .

The deceased were of the ages 68,53,75,20,86,74 years it has been revealed .

Another 747 Corona Positives Had Been Discharged From Hospitals Today (17)

 Another 747 Corona Positives had been recovered and discharged from Government hospitals and treatment centers today (17)according to the Epidemeology Unit .

Up to now 71,176 Corona positives had been discharged from. Hospitals and treatment centers after full recovery 

713 Corona Posltives Reported Today (17)

 Another 713 Corona Positives had been reported  today (17)increasing the total number of Corona positives reported in the country so far to 77,906 according to the National Covid -19 Prevention.Center .

All these positives were contacts of the Previous Corona positives reported from Paliyagoda and Prisons Corona clusters the Center has stated .

At the moment 6321 Corona positives are being treated at Government hospitals and treatment centers .

13 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported today(17)

 A total of 13 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (17) increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 422 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center. 

Accordingly 12 males and A female resided at Panadura ,Paliyagoda ,Bombuwala ,Naboda ,Wauda,Agarapathana ,Nuwaraeliya ,Maggona ,Northern Kalutara ,Nugegoda areas had died due to Complications of the non communicable  diseases they have suffered from. caused by Corona infection the center has stated.

The deceased were of the ages 46-86 it has been revealed.
