A Section Of The Gampaha Town Had Been Closed After Identifying A Corona Cluster At The Common Market
A section of the Gampaha town (Western Province ) along with all trade stalls and institutions located in the area had been closed down last evening (09) until further notice ,After identifying 58 Corona positives. From the Common market at Gampaha town during a three day period according to Health Authorities .
Accordingly around 200 trade stalls and all institutions in a section of the Gampaha town had been closed along with all sub toads in the area under health instructions .All non essential travel to the Gampaha town has been banned due to the risk of spreading corona virus in the area authorities had stated .
This decision has been taken at a meeting held last evening (09)under the patronage of Gampaha Mayor Eranga Senanayake ."PCR "tests are scheduled to be performed on all employees attached to the Institutions in the closed section and of those working at trade stalls in the area to identify the contacts of the Corona positives reported do far the Authorities have stressed .

Five Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Yesterday (0
A total of 05 Corona Deaths had been reported yesterday (09) ,in the country ,increasing the total number of Corona deaths that had been reported so far to 370 according to the National Covid -19 Prevention Center .
Accordingly 03 Males and 02 Females resided in kapuliyadda(Kandy),Katawala (Kandy),Moratuwa,Kurunagala and Anuradhapura areas had died due to to the Complications of non communicable diseases they have suffered from caused by Corona infection the center has stated .
The deceased were of the ages 45,81,56,73and 74 years old it has been revealed .
