48,617 Corona Positives Discharged From Hospitals And Treatment Centers So Far

 Another 769 Corona positives had been recovered and discharged from Hospitals and treatment centers yesterday (21) and 633 positives discharged after full recovery today (22)according to Epidemeology Unit 


Accordingly 48,617 Corona positives had been discharged do far the unit has stated .

Two Corona Deaths Reported Yesterday (21)

 A total of two Corona deaths reported yesterday (21)raising the total number of Corona deaths reported in the country so far to 276 according to the National Covid -19 Prevention Center .


Acccordingly a  71 year old female resided in Paliyagoda and a 46 year old male resided in Athurugiriya  had died due to the complications of severe Pneumonia and respiratory illness they have suffered with caused by Corona virus .

The deceased had died whilst receiving treatment at Mulleriyawa Base and Homagama Base hospitals .

887 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Yesterday (21)

 A total of 887 Corona positives including a foreign national  had been reported yesterday (21) according to the National Covid -19 Prevention Center .


Accordingly majority of these Corona positives which was 337  had been reported from Colombo District .Corona positives had been reported from all 25 districts in the island yesterday the center has stated .

Altogether 56,422 Corona positives had been reported so far in the country .

One Corona Death Reported Today (20)

 A Corona death had bern reported in the country today (20) increasing the the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 274 according to the Government information Department .


Accordingly a 53 year old female  resided in Mallawagedara area at Gampaha district has died due to the complications of the Septacemia shock and severe diabetes  caused by Corona infection .The deceased. Had died whilst receiving treatment at IDH Hospital in Angoda .
