694 Fresh Corona Positives Reported zTidsg
A total of 694 fresh Corona cases had been reported today (09)in the country ,Increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far in the country to 30,075 according to Epidemeology Unit .
Accordingly all these Corona positives belongs to the Minuwangoda Brandix ,Paliyagoda fish market and prisons corona clusters the unit had stated .The number of Corona cases reported so far from these clusters is 26,516 according to reports .
At the moment 8131 Corona positives are being treated at government hospitals and treatment centers .

655 Sri Lanka s Stranded In Middle East Countries Had Arrived In Sri Lanka
A total of 655 Sri Lankans stranded in Middle East Countries due to the Corona pandamic had arrived at Katunayske International Airport this morning (09).
Accordingly 293 from Saudi Arabia ,111 from Doha ,Qatar ,191 From Dubai and 60 from Maldives arrived Sri Lanka this morning .
They were sent to Quarantine Centers for quarantine after performing "PCR "tests .
454 Corona Positives Had Been Discharged From From Hospitals Yesterday (08)After Full Recovery
A total of 454 Corona positives had been recovered and discharged from Hospitals and treatment centers yesterday (08)it has been reported .Accordingly 21,258 Corona positives had been discharged from Hospitals and treatment centers so far .
The majority of the discharged persons which is 87 had been discharged from Punani Treatment center it has been revealed .
A 20 Day old Infant Died From.Corona Infection At Lady Ridgway Children's Hospital Last Evening (08)
A 20 day old infant has died due to Corona infection after being admitted to Lady Ridgway Children's Hospital yesterday (08) it has been reported
.
The Child who was admitted to the Ridgway hospital in the wee hours of last morning (08)due to severe Pneumonia has died last evening whilst receiving treatment .
The infant who is from Modara area had tested positive for corona virus at the PCR test performed on him after his demise .
The infant was the youngest corona victim of the country and the Corona death toll in the country is now increased to 143 with this death .
