Cyclone Storm."Burevi "Entered Sri Lanka
Cyclone storm "Burevi "has landed in Sri Lanka last night (03) through Trincomalee and Mulathivu districts in the Eastern province ,Creating strong. Winds and heavy showers the Meteorology Department has announced .
The Cyclone storm has alreafy created heavy showers up to 200 nili meters in Jaffna and Eastern province according to the Department.
The Cyclone is due to cause gustey winds with the speed of up to 100 kilo meters per hour in Northern ,Eastern ,North Central Central ,North Western and Sabsragamuwa province and heavy showers over 200 milk meters will be occurred in Northern Eastern ,North Central ,North Western ,Western Province with around 60 or 70 kilo meters per hour winds .
The Cyclone will. Be caused winds with the speed up to 100 kilo metes per hour in sea areas and fishermen were advised not to fishing these days due to the cyclone
All the schools in North and Eastern provinces had been closed for this week due to the cyclone storm .
Another Two Corona Deaths Reported Yesterday(02)
Another two Corona deaths had been reported in the country yesterday (02)increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far here to 124 according to the Health authorities .
Accordingly a 66 year old female resident of Chilaw area has died whilst receiving intensive care treatment at Chilaw District hospital and a 67 year old male resident of Colombo -13 has died due to the corona infection at home .
By yesterday the Corona death rate in the country has been increased to 0.5 .
878 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (02)
A total of 878 Corona positives had been reported in the country today (02)increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 25,410 according to Epidemeology Unit .
Accordingly the health authorities had added all these positives reported today to the Paliyagoda fish market corona cluster
At the moment 6982 corona positives are being treated at government hospitals and Corona treatment centers .

Supreme Court Dismisses 12 Fundamental Rights Petitions Demanding To Stop Cremating Corona Victims
The three member Supreme Court Judge panel headed by Chief Justice Jayantha Jsyasuriya had today (01)dismissed 12 fundamental rights petitions filed by Muslim leaders demanding to abolish the gazette notification directing to cremate all Corona victims instead of burying them ,Without reviewing .
Muslim Political party leaders Civil activists and some of the public had filed these fundamental rights petitions before supreme court saying the gazette notification directing to cremate all corona victims in the country is violating the fundamental rights of muslim.commumiy.
