435 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Yesterday (20)

 A total of 435 Corona Positives had been reported in the country yesterday (20) increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 19,280 according to Epidemeology Unit  

Accordingly all the positives reported yesterday were contacts of the Paliyagoda fish market cluster .Up to now the number of Corona Positives identified as the close contacts of Minuwangoda Brandix and Paliyagoda Fish market Corona clusters is 15,765 the unit has stated .

At the moment 5935 Corona Positives are being treated in government hospitals and treatment centers 

Another Corona Death Reported Today (20)

 Another Corona death has been  reported today (20 ) in the country  increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 74 according l Epidemeology Unit .

Accordingly a 70 year old male resident of Colombo-02 has been died today due to the  heart pain caused by corona infection.The deceased was receiving treatment at the Colombo National Hospital  at the time of his death .

Four Corona Deaths Reported Yesterday (19)

 Another Four Corona deaths had been reported yesterday (19)in the island increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 73 according to the Epidemeology Unit.

Accordingly two females and two males had died due to the Corona virus infection 

A 70 year old resident of Colombo -10 had died after admission to a Private hospital in Colombo due to the pneumonia fever caused by Corona virus , A 59 year old female resident of  pokunuvita area in Kalutara District had died  at house due to the complications of chest infection and hypertension caused by Corona virus , A 27 year old female resident  of Colombo -15 has died due to the complications of liver infection caused by Corona virus  at Mulleriyawa hospital and a 86 year old male resident  of Galthota area in Kalutara. Had died  at home due to the chest infection  caused by the virus  yesterday the Unit has said .

A Corona Positive Mother Had Been Escaped From IDH Hospital Last Night (19)With Her Corona Positive Son -Son Was Found In Ehaliyagoda

 A Corona positive mother who had been identified as involved in large scale heroin snuggling activities had been escaped from National Infectious Diseases Hospital (IDH)at Angoda with her two and half  year old son who is also a Corona positive last night (19)whilst receiving treatment at the Hospital according to Police .

The Corona positive female who is a resident of Ehaliyagoda area in Ratnapura District had visited her house at Ehaliyagoda ,handed over her son to family members and again fled away from the area Police have stated .

Police have taken in to custody the two and half year old son of the escaped female and due to admit him to IDH Hospital for treatment .All family members of the mother are being self quarantined at their house .

Police are currently investigating  in to arrest the mother of the child .
