Five Corona Deaths Were Reported Today (12)

 Five Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (12)increasing the total number of Corona deaths in the country to 53 according to Epidemeology Unit .

Accordingly four males and a female resided in Colombo -14 ,Chilaw ,Ratmalans and Colombo-13 had been died due to the complications  of non communicable diseases they have suffered with including Diabetes ,Hypertension and Asthma  as a result of the Corona infection ,The unit has stated .

The deceased were of the ages of 83,68,69,78 and 64  years old it has been revealed .Three of the deceased had died at home and two died whilst at home .

470 Corona Positives Had Been Fu

 A total of 470 Corona positives had been discharged from Hospitals yesterday (12)after full recovery according to Epidemeology Unit .

Accordingly 10,653 corona positives had been discharged from Hospitals so far .

373 Corona Positives Reported Yesterday (12)

 A total of 373 Corona positives had been reported in the country yesterday (12)increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 15,723  according to the Epidemeology Unit .

Out of these positives reported yesterday ,369 were close contacts of previous Corona Positives and 04 were arrivals from .Unired Arab Emirates the unit has stated .

The total number of members of the Sri lanka"s largest corona clusters ,The Minuwangoda Brandix Corona Cluster is 12,222 it has been revealed .

At the moment 5022 Corona Positives are being treated at Government hospitals and quarantine treatment centers under medical supervision . 

Drones Use To Monitor Those Violate isolation Rules In Isolated Areas -15 Were Arrested Yesterday

 A special Police Team had arrested 15 persons at Modara in Colombo last  evening (12)over violating Isolation rules by travelling  other places  according to Police Media Spokesman Deputy Inspector General Of Police (DIG)) Ajith Rohana.

Those persons were arrested after monitoring them through the drones he has stressed .

Security forces had yesterday launched a special mission to surround those persons in  areas which   isolated due to the current corona pandamic ,who are moving to other places by using drones to monitor their movements .

This mission will continues until lifting the restrictions of these areas DIG Rohana has stated .

A Begger At Battaramulla Had Been Tested Positive For Corona Virus

 A begger at Battaramulla area had been  tested positive for Corona virus today (12) and hospitalized for treatment according to reports .

Eight other beggers who were identified as close contacts of the Corona virus positive begger had been sent to the quarantine center at Nittambuwa for quarantine .
