A total of 510 Corona positives had been reported today (08) increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far in the country to 13,929 according to the Epidemeology Unit .
Majority of the Corona positives reported today were close contacts of the Paliyagoda fish market cluster it has been revealed .
Accordingly the Total number of Corona positives identified that related to Minuwangoda Brandix and Paliyagoda fish market clusters were 10,447 .
At the moment 5609 Corona positives are being treated at government hospitals .
The quarantine Police Curfew imposed in Whole Western province is scheduled to be lifted at 5 a.m tomorrow morning (09) except 25 police divisions in Colombo ,Gampaha and Kalutara as well as in Kurunagala Municipal Council area and a village in Panadura area according to Police Media Spokesman Deputy Inspector General Of Police (DIG) Ajith Rohana .
Accordingly those 25 police divisions the Kurunagala Municipal Council area and a village at Panadura area will be isolated under further notice to prevent the spreading of Corona virus .
According to the isolation no one can enter these isolated areas neither leave from them .A programme will be launched to distribute essential food to the public in these areas and online deliveries will be operated through Supermarkets and pharmacies DIG Rohana has stated .
However retail markets where majority of the people purchasing goods are not allowed to open in isolated areas he has stated .
Both public and private vehicles can drive through these isolatec areas but not allowed to stop at these areas for any reason it has been announced .
Four Corona positive deaths had been reported yesterday (08) and one death today increasing the total number of Corona Deaths in Sri Lanka to 35 according to Health Ministry .
Accordingly three females and two males were among those who died due to Corona virus infection Both yesterday and today the Ministry has stated.
Out of the four Corona deaths reported yesterday in the country two were died at home and other two have died after admission to hospitals and they were residents of Colombo District of the ages 42,67,69 and 88 years it has been revealed .
The 78 year old male who had died on Admission to Colombo National Hospital has been tested positive for virus today during the post mortem held on his death .
