Seven Prison Inmates at Bogambara Prison Had Been Tested Positive For Corona Virus

 Seven prison inmates under quarantine at Bogambara Prison premises had been tested positive for Corona virus yesterday (07) according to prison authorities .

All these Positives had been sent to Welikanda Treatment Center for treatment .

71 Sri Lankans Stranded In Three Middle Eastern Countries Had Been Arrived In Sri Lanka

 A group of 71 Sri Lankans stranded in Dubai ,Oman and Qatar due to the Corona pandamic had been arrived in Sri Lanka this morning (08)through 03 flights according to the Katunayake International Airport .

Accordingly 35 Sri lankans from Dubai ,19 from Oman and 17 from Qatar had arrived.   At Katunayake International Airport in Colombo this morning .

These passengers  had been sent to quarantine after performing "PCR "tests .

444 Corona Positives Had Been Reported In The Country Yesterday (07)

A total of 444  Corona positives had been reported today,(07) in the country according to Epidemeology Unit .

Accordingly majority of these Corona positives which was  177 had been reported from Colombo District and 174 had been reported from Gampaha District .Another 10 Corona positives had been reported from Kalutara District .

A total of 13,419 Corona positives had been reported in the country so far and 5662 Corona positives are being treated at Government hospitals at the moment .

 Out of the 400 Corona Positives reported yesterday (06) 203 ,were reported from Gampaha District and 102 were reported from Colombo District according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

400 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today !06)

 A total of 400 Corona Positives had been reported today (06)increasing the total number of Corona Positives reported so far to 12,970 according to Epidemeology Unit .

Accordingly all the 400 Corona positives reported today were close contacts. Of the Paliyagoda Fish market cluster the unit has stated .

At the moment 5456 Corona positives are. Being treated at government hospitals .
