765 Corona Positives Were Discharged From Hospitals Today (05))

 A total of 765 Corona positives had been discharged from hospitals today (05)after full recovery according to Epidemeology Unit .


Accordingly these Positives were discharged from 26 Government hospitals .

Up to now 6623 Corona positives had been discharged from Hospitals after full recovery 

Meanwhile the number of members of the Minuwangoda Brandix and Paliyagoda Fish market clusters had risen to 9092 .

383 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (05)

 A total of 383 Corona positives had been reported in the island today (05) increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 12,570 according to Epidemeology Unit .


All the Corona Positives  reported today were close contacts of the members of Paliyagoda fish market cluster the unit has stated .

At the moment 5918 Corona Positives are being treated at Government hospitals .

A total of 443 Corona positives had been reported in the island last Wednesday (04).Out of these positives 170 were reported from Colombo Municipal Council area .

Lockdowns In Two Areas In Kegalle Had Been Lifted


 The lockdown imposed in Bulathkohupitiya  Police Division and Galigamuwa pradesheya Sabha area since last Monday (02)to. Prevent the spreading of Corona virus had been lifted today (05)according to National Covid-19 Prevention Center  ..

The reason behind the lifting lockdown in these areas has not yet been recealed 

Five Corona Deaths Reported Today (05) In The Country

Five Corona Deaths had been reported today I'm lol(05) the highest number of Corona deaths reported from Sri Lanka in a single day since the pandamic began ,According to the Epidemeology Unit  


Out of the five deceased Corona positives three were females and two were males and three of them died whilst at home the unit has stated .All these deceased were identified as Corona positives due to the "PCR "tests conducted on them at the posit mortem.

The 46 year old male who were among these deceased had died after admitting to Pimbura hospital and 68 year old female has died after admitting to Colombo National Hospital with chest pain it has been revealed d .

The deceased were of the ages 46,58,68,73 and 74 years old according to reports .

With these deaths the total number of Corona deaths reported from. The country had risen to 29 and 16 of them were reported during last two weeks .
